When we first arrived at the shop, we engaged with a Great Wolf employee as the main attendant must have been on break. Had those multiple areas been open, it would have made their experience even better. It took our entire stay but they were able to complete all tasks.ĭue to Covid-19 the additional areas for climbing and slidding to complete your missions were closed off. Our kids are 10 and 7 and they thoroughly enjoyed running up and down the stairs trying to complete each quest. It was an easy way to keep our kids entertained, especially when pool attractions were shut down. They opened before and stayed open later than the pool. The nice part about this location, it's attached to the hotel so we never had to leave the property. It also included free ice cream, bulk candy, and arcade credits. This included 1 - MagiQuest game, 1 standard MagiQuest wand, topper, or belt. We decided to go with the middle option (Red Paw Pass) for $45 per individual. During our check-in process, we noticed a display advertising 'Paw Passes' for resort guests. They did have a meal package when we went that included a large pizza and pitcher of pop one day for lunch and a free breakfast buffet the next morning.We were staying at the Great Wolf Lodge for a spring break getaway.

Great Wolf is nice for a small weekend trip but by comparison it is not my favorite. However, there is no outdoor waterpark here. The lazy river is very nice and there were many things to do. Key Lime Cove is smaller than Wilderness but still has the waterpark under one roof like Great Wolf. The full kitchen made that very easy and there were two bedrooms that shared a bathroom and a pull out couch for the kids.

My couponer self kicked in and wanted to be able to make many of our meals instead of eating out a lot. Wilderness is huge and like Jill said you have to walk to the three different indoor parks as they are all in different buildings. They do have MagicQuest if your kids are old enough to do that. If you are a lazy river fan though this is NOT the place for you. We didn’t go out there much because it was kind of cold during our trip there. There is also a waterpark outside that isn’t huge but nice.

There are 3 seperate waterpark areas inside that are all under one roof. Great Wolf was our first waterpark in the dells.
